The start of my journey in this remarkable place

I took this photo last night from my kitchen window as the mists drifted in and around the mountain and the light grew pale.I feel extremely blessed to live in this extraordinary place so near to something so magnificent and powerful.

As I make preparations to have people come to stay at my house amidst the challenges of simply living in another country where I struggle making myself understood at times and life in a very rural location where you have to drive half and hour to buy food!It still feels a privilege to be living here and when I contemplate the project of creating 2 more bedrooms and the work that I have volunteered to do to save on expenses, removing bits of hay centuries old, rubble and rotten floor boards ,I feel this joy and sense of a higher plan which spurs me on.
